Treasured Stories by Eric Carle

a brown bear, a moon & a caterpillar

Anya and Adrian went to watch A Brown Bear, A Moon & A Caterpillar: Treasured Stories by Eric Carle presented by Act 3 International at Genexis Theatre yesterday. The Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia, Canada performed three stories by Eric Carle: Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?, Papa, Please Get the Moon For Me and The Hungry Caterpillar.

We had a bit of problem making it to the performance because I had forgotten to collect the tickets and we tried rushing to the Sistic counter at Anchorpoint to get the tickets but were told that we can’t collect tickets for performances on the same day. And I thought the performance was at 11am when it was actually at 10.30am!

To cut a long story short, we eventually managed to collect the tickets at the venue itself and they didn’t miss any part of the performance even though they only went in at 10.40am. Phew!

Although we preferred last year‘s performance because the stories lent themselves better to puppetry, this performance was very good too. Hope they’ll come and perform more Eric Carles stories next year!

A Brown Bear, A Moon & A Caterpillar: Treasured Stories by Eric Carle is on at Genexis Theatre until 29 Jul 2012.
