I think it’s better for Adrian to accompany Anya for her art classes. I’m too much of a control freak and tend to interfere with her creative process (or lack thereof)! Anyway, this week, she painted an oak tree as a Father’s Day present. The oak tree is supposed to represent her daddy. The trunk was made with paint dribbled on with short bits of straw, the leaves with a sponge and the grass with a piece of pipe cleaner. I did all the grass because Anya refused to touch the pipe cleaner after I foolishly said it was a worm. I also did most of the leaves on the left since she insisted on sponging leaves only on the right side of the tree.
