Some of my folks were away in Malaysia on Sunday, so instead of our usual Sunday family dinner, we went on the Singapore Flyer. Anya’s been wanting to go on what she calls the ‘big wheel’ for ages because her last time was almost two years ago!
We got a good deal with my aunt’s PAssion card, saving $8 off each adult ticket and $1 off Anya’s ticket. We also got a $5 voucher each for use at the Singapore Food Trail. The kids were really excited to be on the Flyer and we all enjoyed the ride. I guess with Singapore developing so quickly, there’s always something new to look at when you’re on the Flyer.
The food at the Singapore Food Trail is really quite good and more affordable than I would expect for a place like the Flyer. The vouchers came in handy and we ordered bak kut teh, ngoh hiang prawn cracker, Hokkien mee, orh luak, and satay bee hoon. I love how they have done up the place like a 1960s food street.
