We drove up to KL on the first day and settled into a 3-bedroom apartment at Ascott. The kids were happy to be out of the car and had fun jumping around on one of the beds. The apartment at Ascott was very comfortable and is very conveniently located.
We ordered some food up for lunch and snoozed a bit. We wanted to have Hokkien mee at Lien Bee but it was closed so we settled for Lai Foong. The food was pretty decent even though I didn’t get to have crunchy bits of lard that I’d been craving for.
After dinner, we walked around KLCC, watched a Christmas performance, did some shopping, bought some cupcakes and then went back to Ascott and that was our first day!
