Adrian hates steamboat. He thinks it’s really silly that you have to pay to cook your own boiled food. Nav is not that fond of steamboat either. So it was not easy to convince them to have a steamboat dinner while we were in Cameron Highlands but they didn’t have much of a choice since almost every restaurant there serves steamboat!
We headed to Restoran Highlands to have charcoal steamboat for dinner. The restaurant is located behind the main street of Brinchang so we had to spend a bit of time looking for it. The charcoal imparts a great flavour to the food and the steaming, hot food is perfect for cool Cameron Highlands night. The men were quite happy with dinner despite their initial reluctance.

Anya was quite impressed by the tall funnel
We headed to Cameron Highlands after two nights in KL. On our way up the long and winding road, poor Adam got carsick and threw up twice. He was much better when we got there, so after we checked into the recently refurbished Strawberry Park Resort, we headed to the Big Red Strawberry Farm.
Anya had been looking forward to picking strawberries but we were told that they had run out of ripe strawberries. She was still happy enough to sit on the kiddy rides and eat various strawberry-flavoured things from the cafe. I had a butterhead lettuce juice and I thought it was pretty yummy. The strawberry-flavoured coffee tasted really strange though.
