I hang out at The French Ladle almost every week while Anya is having her Chinese class and I’ve blogged about it before. We went there for brunch for the first time on Saturday and were very pleased with our food.
Adrian loved the creamy scrambled eggs and crusty baguette in his French Ladle big breakfast. He even liked the salad, which is quite something because he usually abandons the greens on his plate. I had to wait a bit for my duck confit but it was worth it. The meat was so tender it simply fell off the bone and the skin was beautifully crisp. I hoarded the skin and refused to give Adrian more than a tiny sliver of it.
The people at The French Ladle are really warm and friendly. They always give me a smile and a wave when they see me walking by with Anya and it’s this personal touch that makes all the difference. Definitely planning to have dinner there sometime soon!
