Channeling Pissaro at Heart Studio

I have never been particularly artistic but I decided to try my hand at an oil pastel piece some time ago at Heart Studio. I liked the experience because I hardly ever sit down for a significant period of time and exercise the artistic portion of my brain! The repetitive action of dabbing colour onto the canvas was therapeutic as well.

I wasn’t completely pleased with my piece of work because my proportions were off and my trees looked clumpy. But the process was enjoyable and I’m open to the idea of attending adult art classes!
