BabyBjörn Bouncer Balance Soft

I love how many baby products that our parents used when we were babies are still being used now but in new, improved versions that make life much easier for us parents. For example, the baby bouncer. You know those springy mesh seats that are usually found in baby blue or pink? I sat/ slept on one when I was a baby and I wish there were a giant version for adults I could lounge about in even now!

BabyBjörn Bouncer Balance Soft is definitely better than what we had as babies. For starters, it’s available in a range of fashionable colours from silver/ white to khaki/ beige that will complement (rather than clash with) your home decor. There are cotton and mesh versions but I personally like the latter for our tropical climate. The bouncer is suitable for babies and toddlers aged 0-2 years. Baby David has been using it since he was a few months old.

BabyBjörn Bouncer Balance Soft is developed with pediatricians and ergonomically designed to provide proper head and back support, crucial for babies whose muscles are not fully developed. It folds up nice and flat, making it easy to store or transport (and bring along on holidays). In my opinion, the biggest advantage the BabyBjörn Bouncer Balance Soft has over the old-fashioned mesh bouncer is that it can be easily and QUIETLY adjusted from the upright position (when baby is laughing and playing) to the reclined sleeping position (Zzzz…) without waking baby.

To be honest, I wish someone had given this to me 5 years ago when Anya was born (instead of numerous hampers!) because it is very useful to have around. I think any mum-to-be or mum of a new baby would truly appreciate this as a Christmas or baby shower gift. BabyBjörn Bouncer Balance Soft is available from Mothercare and you can get it for just $179 (that’s $100 off!) as a special pre-order deal (until 31 December) for the Mothercare Baby fair 2015!
