Save with Shell! Win with Shell!

For as long as we’ve been married (9 years!), we have been getting our petrol from Shell. While I love the convenience of having a car, as the kids came along one by one, the amount we spend on petrol has increased very significantly. Now we have three kids and driving them to school and all over the island to their many activities means we spend a lot on petrol every week.

So we are taking part in the Shell FuelSave Challenge and hopefully by doing so and implementing the many fuel-saving tips, we will be more aware of our driving habits and start saving fuel (and $$$!!!)

We are using a Shell FuelSave Log Card to record our trips and to see how fuel-efficient we are. Of course, I’m using the term ‘we’ very loosely since I can’t drive and it’s totally up to Adrian to implement the fuel-saving tips that are directly related to his driving. My part is mainly to nag at him to do certain things and I’m looking forward to it!

The ‘Win With Shell’ promotion is taking place between 19 May and 13 July 2014. Shell Escape members who spend at least $50 on Shell fuels and spot the winning message on the back of their Shell receipts (see below) instantly win the equivalent of their fuel purchase. Shell will match the amount spent rounded up to the nearest $10. Customers who pay with Citibank credit cards will win double the amount spent. This is subject to a maximum of $300 win for customers who pay by Citibank credit cards and a $150 win for customers who pay by other payment modes

Shell Escape members with these winning receipts will then get an opportunity to be one of 20 winners to walk away with additional $100 Shell fuels vouchers. Just snap a photo of yourself sharing your joy of winning and upload it onto your Instagram or Twitter account, with the hashtag #WinWithShell.
