We attended the Family Day event at The Star Performing Arts Centre on Saturday. We watched a Dora the Explorer live show at the Gallery stage. After the show, we went to the Foyer and Anya got a glittery heart painted on her arm and both the kids got balloon sculptures.

We sat in for a Dora the Explorer storytelling session at the Terrace Stage before popping back to the Gallery Stage for a Spongebob Squarepants live show.

After lunch, we went back to the Terrace stage to watch a jazz performance by students from LASALLE College of the Arts. The last performance we caught was Jack & Rai. They were giving out goody bags and, for some reason, Anya really wanted one so she went up on stage to get one from Jack. I thought that was quite brave of her!
